While there are several things on my children’s list of favorites when it comes to food, one of their absolute favorites is yogurt.  They eat it for breakfast, snacks, and even as a frozen treat sometimes!  It’s even one of the cutest words my 18-month old currently says on a daily basis as he is reaching for the refrigerator doors attempting to get his own yogurt if mommy isn’t fast enough.  As a mom, I love that my kids are asking for yogurt.  I can have peace of mind knowing that they are eating something nutritious.  In fact, it’s often my go-to food when they are trying to eat something not-so-healthy, and more times than not, bringing out the yogurt lures them away from their junk food they were seeking five seconds earlier.

I do have to say though that not all yogurts are as healthy as others.  Since my kids love yogurt, I figure my best bet is to provide them with the most nutritious yogurt I can since they will eat it!  It’s not everyday I can get my toddler to munch on a ton of veggies, but at least he’ll eat yogurt!  YoBaby Yogurt is one of my favorite choices when it comes to purchasing yogurt for my young children.  It’s the only yogurt that is organic and made from whole milk just as peds recommend specifically for babies.  They sell several varieties, some containing iron and Omega-3 DHA.  When my older child was young, she was borderline anemic so I loved that YoBaby offered a yogurt with added iron in it!!   They even sell drinkable yogurt for those children who aren’t crazy about eating yogurt with a spoon.   If you haven’t tried YoBaby for your little one, you can read more about all the great benefits of it on their website HERE.

When I was given the opportunity to do this review and giveaway, I was very excited.  As I may have mentioned before, I did use YoBaby with my first child when she was borderline anemic since it had the added iron, but I had not gotten any for my son try it yet.  He is a huge fan of yogurt anyway, but he LOVED his YoBaby!  Both my kids were excited to pick out their flavor (the 4-pack comes with two different flavors) and snack away on the YoBABY.  I couldn’t believe how many more options they have made just since we were using it before.  I noticed they even have YoBaby Meals now in the yogurt section.  We will be trying those out next time we go to the store!
