It seems like one of my girls get hurt every single day.  Their pseudo owies are often cries for a kiss from mommy or daddy to make their worlds happier.  Once the girls discovered ice packs they started using those for every little ailment they have.  If a blanket falls on her foot or a corner is ran in to the end result is the same – a trip to the freezer for an ice pack.

It wasn’t until I received my Coolkidz for review that I realized what we were lacking in the department of owie ice packs.  A Coolkidz cold pack has a unique combination of gel that remains soft and flexible when frozen.  The following photo depicts this exactly!

You can see my daughter’s hand molding the Coolkidz monkey to her leg. That was impossible with our previous ice packs, which just sit on the skin in their rigid state.  Coolkidz are reusable, stay soft when frozen, PVC-free, BpA-free, and the perfect size for little hands.

Our take:
My family has recently come to adore Coolkidz.  The girls run to get the monkey when they have any teeny ailment and always choose it over the ice packs we owned previously.  In fact, my older daughter hit her head before rest time today and one of the first things she told my husband when he came home from work was that she bumped her head before rest time and was able to sleep with the monkey under her head.  Apparently the Coolkidz monkey was the highlight of her day!  This is a product we will buy in the future.
