We recently had a Preschool is Cool: Counting with Elmo DVD giveaway, and now we have another.  This giveaway is for everyone who likes simple to enter giveaways since there are only two ways to enter.  One is to leave a comment with your favorite Sesame Street character and the other is to like Coupons Are Great on Facebook.

As a giveaway enterer (yes, I am using that word even though it is highlighted red) I also love giveaways that have one or two giveaway options.   Things are simple and easy and the chance of winning is great!

As a blogger I appreciate the need for more entries.  Hear me out.  Giveaways are work for both the blogger and the sponsor.  Each giveaway that I post takes me between 1 to 2 hours.   I keep telling myself I will get quicker, but not matter what I do the time frame is always the same.  It is a nice benefit to increase in followers on both Google Friend Connect, Twitter, and Facebook for my time.  When I approach businesses and ask to do reviews and giveaways they in turn ask about my statistics – including page views, google friend connect followers, facebook fans, and twitter followers.  The better sites have better numbers and more companies want to work with those sites.  So you can see, it is a big circle kind of game for bloggers.

For the sweet, amazing prize sponsors they agreed to host a giveaway to generate knowledge of their site or product.  It is more than fair to include their social media links as optional entry methods.  For small businesses (which are one of my favorites to work with) giveaways are money out of their pocket.  I feel that it is my responsibility to drive traffic to all of their sites.  They are awesome people and businesses and I love getting the word out about them.

In a nutshell, you can kind of see how the gears in my brain work.

And because I truly appreciate each of our readers I will occasionally post giveaways that are super simple.
