SENSORY BALL SET (3+ months):   

Have you met a baby yet that isn’t amazed and in love with balls?  They can entertain a little one for hours on end!  The sensory ball set has a perfect mix of plush, soft textured plastic, and hard plastic balls for your infant to grasp and take on different rhythms as they shake and play with them.  The high contrast patterns will also promote development in your baby’s vision.  They are labelled for ages 3 months and UP.  I have to say that even my 2.5 year old was excited to see the set of balls arrive.  While he may have a little different method of play in mind with them than a 3-month old, he still found them cool and enjoyed the different texture ball as well.  We have established that they are baby brother’s balls though and have placed them in the nursery for safe keeping! 

ON-THE-GO FORMULA DISPENSER:  I know from other friends that these dispensers are a lifesaver for a mom on the go that formula feeds.  It saves so much time (and space) to just toss a few bottles worth of formula in the dispenser and run out the door.  Being a breastfeeding mom, I haven’t had a need for formula, but I have to say that these dispensers all serve as a great snack container for your diaper bag!  I put Gerber puffs and cheerios in them to travel with me and keep fresh!  It’s super easy to just shake a few at a time out and onto a stroller tray or highchair as my little one needs them!

TEETHING FEEDER (6+ mo):   This is something that I have used for both of my older two children.  While we didn’t use them each day, it was something that I would stick some fresh fruit (often a banana) in quite often when they were early on in the feeding process.  It keeps them occupied for a super long time!  Sassy has made these feeders portable too with a chiller top to bring them along with you!  That’s something I never tried before, but I will be trying it out this time around.

STAY-CLEAN SILLY SQUIRTS:  I saved this one for last for a reason.  I was super excited when I opened my package from Sassy and seen that Sassy now has a bathsquirt toy that you can avoid mold!  Seriously, it’s such a little thing but I am in LOVE with these bath squirters!

My older children are 2-years old and 4-years old, and they still love squirters!  While now it’s for having a water fight in the tub, they have always enjoyed them for one reason or another from the start of taking a bath as an infant (back then they just chewed on them).  I cannot even begin to count how many bathsquirt toys we have went through in four years- way too many to count!  It doesn’t seem to matter how hard you try, they always seem to get mold in them from the smallest amount of water that gets stuck inside.  I toss them out every month or so and have to buy new.  What a great money-saving invention for Sassy to make these new Stay-Clean Squirts!!  This is yet another thing that once I see it, I laugh at myself for not thinking of inventing them myself!  They are made to separate in the middle so you can clean them out and dry them after each bath, therefore, avoiding all that nasty mold that can grow inside the regular squirters.  And even better:  they are dishwasher safe!  You can pull them apart and stick them in the dishwasher from time-to-time to ensure they stay clean and safe for your little one’s to play with!

The day after we received our new silly squirts, we brought them up for bath time and tried them out.  If you asked me to review them all by myself, I would have said I didn’t think they worked the same as the regular squirters.  I attempted to fill them up with water for all of two seconds and thought they didn’t work before my kids took over and within two minutes were squirting each other nonstop. 

I have no idea why I couldn’t get them to fill with water, but my kids sure figured it out fast!  Now of course we are all pros at them as we have been using them for each bath time.  It took a few times of separating them and replacing the tops and bottoms for them to be easy to maneuver on and off, but once we got the hang of it, they have been nothing but loads of fun for bothmy kids!  I think we’re going to have to invest in a few more so our new little guy has some to play with too!
