Each week I spend between $20 and $30 on produce for our family of four. Almost all of our produce comes from Aldi because they have the best prices out of all the nearby stores, which include Publix, Kroger, SuperTarget, and Walmart Supercenter.
Today I purchased 12 produce items from Aldi and spent $18.52 out of pocket ($17.98 subtotal, $0.54 sales tax). This is what I purchased:

$0.99 – Cantaloupe
$1.29 – Mushrooms
$1.79 – Grape Tomatoes
$0.79 – Mango
$2.99 – Multi-colored Peppers (3 ct)

$1.49 – Sweet Potatoes (3 lbs)
$2.99 – Oranges (4 lb. bag)
Aldi is a store I can get in and out of in ten minutes or less. In addition to produce we also buy the fruit strips made of 100% fruit and contain no artificial anything. They are delish! Often milk and eggs are a bit cheaper at Aldi than the nearby stores. If you live near an Aldi I urge you to stop in one day and see what it is all about. You need to take your own shopping bags (or pay to buy theirs) and will need a quarter to rent your cart (don’t worry, it will be returned when you put your cart back). If you find Aldi is not for you, be sure to take the sales flier to a store that price matches. Really, Aldi’s produce prices are unbeatable!
