It’s officially September 26th…and that means one thing. I have five months until I run the Disney Princess Half Marathon in Orlando. I have never been so excited to run 13.1 miles in my life. I know, I know, there are many of you thinking “Run? 13.1 miles? No way!” I am actually signed up to do the Disney Princess Half Marathon on February 26th and the Georgia Marathon on March 18th. I may officially be crazy!
My goal for the Disney Princess Half Marathon is to really have fun. I would like to finish in under 2 hours, 30 minutes. I really want to take a few photos along the way. And between now and then I need to find some appropriate running gear. I mean, this is Disney World, and this is a Princess race, and I will probably only do it once in my life. So I do need to be dressed for the occasion!
For the next month my plan is to incorporate more weights to my workouts (which translates to ANY weights, since I currently avoid them) and s–t–r–e–t–c–h!
Is anyone else going to be in Orland at the same time?
