Now on DVD – “The Royal Wedding – William & Catherine”

April 29th, 2011 marked an event that almost all little girls dream about.  The royal wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton was the event of a lifetime.  Unfortunately for many of us Americans, the wedding took place in the wee hours of the morning.  Watching this magical event occur live was just not an option for many of us.  My girls and I caught the balcony kiss and I instantly wished I had watched more of this historical event.

You can now own s beautiful wedding on a commemorative DVD published by BBC Video.  The Royal Wedding: William & Catherine is a keepsake of all of the pomp and pageantry of the historic occasion like no other memento. The DVD includes the complete ceremony plus highlights from the official BBC pre- and post-wedding coverage.  Also included is the special bonus program, “William and Kate: A Royal Engagement,” presenting the story of William and Kate’s relationship via interviews with colleagues, friends and family.  Lovers of the crown will want to own this special, commemorative DVD of this most delightful of events, the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton.

I am pretty sure both of my girls know more about the main political figures of Great Britain than they do the United States.  My younger daughter is obsessed with “Princess Kate.”  Whenever a magazine has a picture of the new princess she grabs her scissors to cut out the photo and add it to her collage.  I don’t have the heart to tell her that “Princess Kate” is really “Duchess Catherine” now.  We are very glad that we have this DVD in our collection to refer back to.
