Review and Giveaway: Car Toy Organizer from Little Sprout Baby! (CLOSED)

Our last giveaway of the week is one you don’t want to miss out on!  Amy from Little Sprout Baby has offered up one of her car toy organizers from her etsy shop for one lucky reader.  I can tell you firsthand that this organizer is something you won’t know how you lived without once you get it in your vehicle!

We received our car toy organizer about a week ago and from the minute I opened the box, I was excited.  Even the packaging was adorable!  I almost didn’t want to take it out of the box!

The organizer could not have arrived at a more appropriate time as we had just returned home from a mini-vacation to see Grandma and Grandpa.  While my car is always a bit messy from my 3-year old and 1-year old, it was even more messy after a long car trip.  Toys, books, snack traps, and sippy cups were all over my floor!  When we went to clean out the car, I pulled out our new car toy organizer and loaded it up.  I was actually quite amazed at how much fit inside the bag!  The quality and durability of the fabric was very impressive as well.  Amy had lined the inside with a fabric just as durable as the outside.  I had purchased a car organizer bag a while back, but it was so cheap that I ended up returning it the next day.  I can attest that this bag is very much the opposite of the bag we had before!

My favorite feature of this bag is that it has a handle that flips right over my seat and hangs the bag right in front of my little guy.  It’s easy for him to reach in and grab something when he gets in the car, and it’s also easy for me to reach back and pull something out that he wants as I”m driving without causing too much of a hassle.  The other day we went to a friend’s house that does not have kids, and I just pulled the bag right off the seat and carried it in the house for the kids to play with while we were there.  It was great!  Normally I’m digging around the car pulling out a few toys that have went under the seat and on the floor and trying to balance them in my arms as we go in the house.  It’s another five-to-ten minute process when we arrive somewhere, but now that I have my toy organizer bag, that was not the case at all!  In fact, I love this toy organizer so much that I just placed an order for a second one to go in front of my 3-year old daughter’s seat today with Amy!  She is so great to work with.  Here’s a little more information about Amy and how she started her etsy shop:

“I’m a runner, a teacher, a wife, a Mommy, and now a sewist. I took a year off of my job as an ESL teacher to be with my infant son and have enjoyed each wonderful moment of it. Last fall I was looking for a cute hat and mittens for my little sprout and could find nothing that made me happy. I got on my sewing machine and made one . . . two . . . five hats for him. They were so cute – a bear, a frog, a twin of our dog, etc. So addictive! When we went to our play groups, the other moms started asked me to make hats for them, so I started taking orders.

Well, if I could make hats and mittens, then I could make the other things I couldn’t find in the store too, right? Right. Each new item is a fabulous challenge. The truth is, I’m having so much fun that I’m taking another year of parental leave next school year. Life is funny. I never imagined myself as a stay at home mom with a small business. It’s a grand journey and I’m loving every twist and turn.”

Don’t have a child?  Being a mom myself, I can assure you that this is a gift any mom would love!  It’s one of those things that you don’t always think about needing, but once you have it, you can’t live without it.
