How often have you sat listening to the same lullaby over-and-over again while awaiting for your child to fall asleep?   It seems like most CD’s out there carry the same old tune that doesn’t really appeal to many of us as parents.  Thankfully the makers of Rockabye Baby have changed that for us!  They have created several CD’s using the instrumental versions to many very-well known rock artists including Bon Jovi, Weezer, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and many more.  Now, when playing some comforting music for your little one, you can enjoy some familiar tunes yourself!

Rockabye Baby sent my family the lullaby renditions of the flaming tips to review for this giveaway.  My 2-year old and 4-year old call any type of lullaby music “bedtime” music, and we put it in one day right before nap time.  They seemed to not even notice that it was different from what they have been listening to for years, but Mommy sure noticed a difference!  Obviously since there are no lyrics and it’s more of a soft-toned music, they weren’t rocking out from the tunes as they do their sing-along songs, but they enjoyed listening to it, and it was a nice change for me as the parent.

I am very excited to start using Rockabye Baby music to help soothe my new little guy to sleep.  With my older children, it’s not something I play on a daily basis, but we did do so when they were at a young age, especially when traveling in the car during nap times, etc.  It is such a relief to know that I won’t have to hear the same old song day-in and day-out when our newborn is listening to the lullaby music each day.  There are so many different CDs to try at Rockabye Baby, and I’m excited to give a few a try for some different listening!
