Without fail, I wait until the last few days to use my free item coupons. The end of the month is here and I needed to use my coupons……so I headed to Walmart. With their new coupon policy that allows overage has become kind of fun to shop at Walmart since my store follows the new rules and allows overage. Of course I choose my cashiers wisely!
Tonight I saved 88% on my shopping trip. The biggie was the overage on the body wash. There was a $2.00/1 coupon from the inserts that did not exclude trial sizes. I had free product coupons from My Coke Rewards for the 12 packs. Coupons.com made available the $1.00 Razor coupons (no longer available) which made them free. The King’s Hawaiian Bread was free after the $2.00 coupon which you can sign up for here. My husband didn’t like the Nivea for Men lotion that was incredibly cheap at Walgreens a few weeks ago, so I bought some tonight. Sheesh, that stuff is spendy! And guys complain that we spend too much money on beauty supplies. The only items I did not have coupons for were the bananas and organic salad. Overall, it was a fun trip! My subtotal was $3.06 for everything I bought!
