We love crafts at our house, and the holidays bring out the craftiness in full force! I was recently selected to work on a very exciting craft project using White Chocolate Candy Corn M&M’s. Don’t they sound mouth watering good? Here is a confession, when I first heard about these I thought that they would be tri-colored M&M’s, but instead it is a bag filled with yellow, orange, and white candies. This is such a fun twist! The possibilities for baking and crafting are virtually endless.

Finding the White Chocolate Candy Corn M&M’s was not an easy task. My third hunting mission to Walmart was a success and I found a big display of them at the end of the Halloween Candy aisle. I went back a week later and found them on the candy aisle shelving, but not near the other M&M’s. So, if you are looking for these this Halloween be sure to check high and low (literally).
Crafting has so many possibilities and I had many different ideas run through my mind, but I ultimately settled on creating a Candy Corn Wreath using the Candy Corn M&M’s. The only material needed for this craft project were Candy Corn M&M’s, a styrofoam wreath, low temp glue gun with low temp glue sticks, and ribbon. I used 2 bags of candies on this project which left plenty to munch on while making it! There are even a few leftovers.

To recreate this project simply glue the Candy Corn M&M’s to the styrofoam wreath using a low temp glue gun. Initially I tried to create the wreath not using a pattern, but I just couldn’t do it. It would look absolutely cute being totally random, but I guess I love patterns a little too much. The patterns will never match since the circles get larger as you go around the circle, but you can get pretty close. In a box of Halloween decorations I found a circular “Happy Halloween” wooden sign which was the perfect accessory to this wreath!

If you love these new M&M’s and you love crafts or cooking then you will definitely want to take a peek at the M&M’s Get Corny site. There are some amazing ideas over there. Plus, you can vote for your favorite between October 7th and 21st.

this is really, really cute…love the way the rows curl around…great job…good luck in the contest!!!
Looks great! I would have been too busy trying to figure out a way to eat them later – so I would have never finished this craft.
Very fun! I like how the rows curve a bit…almost looks like they are wrapping around to the backside. And I’ve got that same Happy Halloween sign!
