Our trip to Oregon has been very fun. It was extremely odd only having a Rite Aid, but I went twice and made two money maker trips, so I can’t complain. It was soooo much fun hunting for coupons here. I found quite a few to add to my coupon collection.
My husband and I went on a date night. At some point during the day Brian had been on fatwallet and was reading about a deal they had on a blue tooth connector thingee that hooked your cell phone up to your cordless phone. Needless to say, we stopped by Office Depot and hit the jackpot! We managed to get four GE PhotoPhones for $10 each, a V-tech cordless phone set that has five handsets for $30, and some Polycom VoiceStation 300 for $30. Brian knew this was a spectacular deal for the Polycom so he put it for auction on ebay. It sold for $160+ in a one day auction. Needless to say, our photo frames and phone are free!
We also popped our Priceline cherry this trip. We are headed back to San Francisco before we go to Georgia and needed a hotel for one night. Our girls do terribly when sleeping together so we needed two room at a great price. Brian found a forum that was posting what deals priceline was giving people when they name their own price. We are staying at a 3.5 hotel for $53 a night. So we bought two rooms for $130 with tax. The website rate for this hotel was $140 a night for one room. Woot! I can get good deals on groceries and HBA, but my husband knows how to get good deals on just about everything else!
