The mall doesn’t have to be expensive

August 13, 2009 by Leandrea Voskanian

Preschool has officially started. It is a very weird feeling to be without my almost-three-year-old daughter two days a week, but my eighteen-month-old daughter and I have enjoyed the quiet time. It is absolutely unbelievable how noisy (and messy) toddlers are! Anyway, Alyssa and I went to the mall today.

Aerie:

0.00 = 15.50 – 15.50 Free Bag for being a member of their (free) a-list program. Every month they offer a different freebie that you can pick up on Thursdays.

Bath and Body Works

0.00 = 5.00 – 5.00 Free Lotion with a home mailer coupon (free item, no purchase required)

JC Penney

2.12 = 5.99 + 5.99 – 10.00 Home Mailer 10/10 coupon. 1.98 Subtotal, 0.14 Tax, 2.12 Grand Total

Things Remembered

5.34 = 14.99 – 10.00 Printable Coupon — This bracelet will be super cute for Natalie’s birthday present!

$7.46 = Total spent at the mall, 84% savings (more if I were to calculate the pajamas at full cost rather than sale price)
