Disney on Ice Dare to Dream in Atlanta is a Must See #DOIAtl

October 13, 2011 by Leandrea Voskanian

Disney certainly knows how to add princesses, villains, sparkles, ice skates, and fireworks to form an amazing show.  Disney on Ice presents Dare to Dream in Atlanta through Sunday October 16th.  If you have a princess fan (specifically Tiana, Cinderella, or Rapunzel) then this show is a must see.  It is fabulous! The show is mostly singing and dancing and acting with a few aerial tricks as well.

During the show you will get caught up in the thrilling excitement of three separate stories – The Princess Frog, Cinderella, and Tangled.  For the finale all of our favorite Disney princesses take to the ice in a breath taking finale that includes a few fireworks.

Before the show I was able to have my picture taken with Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder courtesy of Feld Entertainment Group.  Oh my gosh – my girls would have melted if they had come.  Rapunzel is their absolute favorite princess!

It’s not too late to get your Atlanta tickets…..and if you live in another venue then you have plenty of time.  My husband and I are taking our daughters to see this on Sunday.  We will bring the girl’s princesses dresses with us so they can wear them if they choose.  It was adorable seeing all the little girls in their princesses dresses everywhere you turned.  I will also remember to bring a sweater.  The arena was a little chilly, but I managed to not get too cold in my short sleeve shirt.

Ticket Prices:
Tickets start at $14 ($14, $22, $30, $35, $50 VIP and $75 Rinkside)
Order at www.ticketmaster.com or charge by phone, 800-745-3000
Day of Show Tickets are $2 additional.

Fri., Oct. 14 – 10:30 am, 7:30 pm

Sun., Oct. 16 – 12 pm, 4 pm

If you do plan on seeing this either take extra money for souvenirs or bring your own goodies and explain to your children that they can have what you brought. Or just bring your patience and plan on saying no. There are many, many, many (expensive) treats to buy. You can even get your picture taken with a cardboard cutout of Princess Tianna for $20.
