At Coupons Are Great our goal is to save money one coupon at a time. We like to live frugally today, so we aren’t worrying about tomorrow. This site is run by two women who have five children ranging from newborn to five-years-old. Add germs to this equation and you get some ugliness at home from time to time. Now is one of those times! It’s true,sometimes we miss deal. We miss posting about them and we miss taking advantage of them ourselves. Sometimes we rush out to the store to buy Advil and Mucinex without coupons to make our children, husbands, or own selves feel better. We schedule last minute doctors appointments and then spend the rest of the day snuggled up with our sick, feverish kiddo on the couch watching reruns of their favorite movies. We certainly hope that you understand that our children are our priorities and sometimes a good deal has to go by unnoticed.

I know how the sick kid thing is!! We’ve had a pretty germy house ourselves lately!
Totally understandable! Last month I bought a $3 box of bandaides that wasn’t on sale and I didn’t have a coupon for after the baby split his chin open in the tub. After getting it glued back together, I ran into Walgreens and just bought whatever I thought he couldn’t peel off!
You guys are awesome and your blog rocks! I’m not sure I’d be too inclided to follow it if your children and families weren’t your priority! You’re great mommies! Best wishes for healthy homes (sooner than later!).
