There is no doubt that staying home to receive packages is a chore. Sign up for a FREE UPS My Choice account and you will receive alerts via email (my favorite), text, or telephone the day before your UPS package is scheduled to be delivered.
If you will not be home during the four-hour window you receive then you can authorize some packages to be released without your signature. You can reschedule the delivery or reroute the package to another address or UPS store for a fee of five dollars.
I have used UPS My Choice since the beginning of the 2012 and I LOVE IT! The photo above shows an email notification that I received. I knew exactly when that package was going to arrive. It just makes sense that the person receiving the package has access to the tracking information too. It is so easy to change the delivery time.
