Consignment Sales – Are They Worth It?

My second season of consigning has come and gone.  I was definitely less stressed this time as I had the knowledge and experience from the fall sales to get me through the spring sales.  Here is everything I started with (crackers and Diet Pepsi were requested for the volunteers):

According to MyConsignmentManager I started with 162 items, of which 93 sold 69 were returned to me (although when I counted hangers/items I only had 52 items).  My 70% commission was $162.  For a few hours worth of work I think the return on my investment is worth it, but I understand that some people may not feel the same way.  What about you – do you consign?  Will you in the future?
