The Atlanta Fair returns to Turner Field on March 1st and runs through March 30th. The Atlanta Fair has been an area attraction for over 25 years and it one of the largest inner city fairs that the Souther United States offers. How’s that for random trivia?

The Atlanta Fair is stepping it up this year with the Read & Win Program. Children ages 2 – 11 are encouraged to head to participating Fulton and Henry county libraries and begin reading for a chance to win a free visit to the Atlanta Fair for their classmates! Children will receive an honorary blue ribbon mark for every 10 books checked out, read and returned to participating libraries. The student who submits a library log with the highest number of blue ribbons by the close of business on Sunday, March 17, 2013 will be the proud winner of the Read & Win challenge!
The participating Fulton county libraries include:
- Carver Homes Mechanicsville Branch
- Central Library Perry Homes Branch
- East Atlanta Library Ponce de Leon Library
- Fairburn Washington Park
- Georgia Hill West End
- Kirkwood Library Fortson Library
The winner will be announced on Wednesday, March 20 and will have the opportunity to bring his or her classmates to the fair free of charge on Sunday, March 24 for a pizza party and an all inclusive day of fair activities.
