There is a new birthday party venue in metro Atlanta. Olivia’s Dollhouse Tearoom is a little girl’s dream come true with dresses, shoes, and accessories galore. Add some nail polish, hair styles, and makeup and most little girls will want to live at Olivia’s. While this is the perfect venue for girls, Olivia’s also has some boy clothes too.
A few weekends ago we were invited to a sneak peek of Olivia’s Dollhouse Tearoom with several other Atlanta area bloggers and media. I didn’t know what to expect (except honestly I thought we were going for a tea party….more on that later). Opinions and experiences shared here are all my own honest thoughts and I hope you enjoy them. When we walked into Olivia’s I knew my girls were going to fall in love with a local Atlanta business. Olivia’s combines dolls, Disney, dress-up, imagination, and glamour into one package.
Olivia’s features at huge dressing room that is full of captivating dresses. There are sparkles, straps, tulle, satin, organza, sequins, and an organized rainbow of colors in dress sizes ranging from toddler to big girl. There is a tall jewelry box filled with necklaces, bracelets, and clip on earrings. Some of the clip on earrings would make wonderful broaches on the top of the dresses. An outfit isn’t complete without shoes of all kinds. My girls were beyond thrilled to see real high heel shoes that they could wear. I don’t have little Siri Cruise’s walking around my house in high heels so being allowed to wear heels was a very special treat for them. Add a boa to the outfit and look out red carpet (there really is a red carpet to walk).
Olivia’s Dollhouse Tearoom hosts birthday and dress-up parties. There are several different posh parties to choose from. The birthday girl is truly the belle of the ball at her own party. The girls will choose their favorite party attire and walk the runway. Then it’s party time! Party guests receive a three course meal. They start by having veggies and dip as an appetizer then move on to finger sandwiches and bite sized hot dogs while sipping on tea (which is really pink lemonade which is a very popular choice for kids). Then it’s time for cake. The cake has been planned for the party. So parents, there truly is nothing you need to do for a perfect Olivia’s Dollhouse Tearoom experience. The cake is personalized, royal, and made locally.
At Olivia’s you will be able to sit back and relax while the party guests have a spectacular party. Bring your camera and snap/record as memories are made.
I mentioned earlier that I though we were going to a tea party, but unfortunately I just can’t read sometimes. My girls looked at the heart shaped table (oh yes, it is heart shaped….every detail is perfectly planned) that was set up for tea and were disappointed that Mommy was wrong. I can only image how much fun it would be to receive the royal treatment at Olivia’s with a party that includes tea and cake. A ride in the pink hummer would be so over the top that I think my girls would explode with excitement!
