Wednesday has almost come and gone for those of us on the East Coast. Did you workout today or meet any of your health goals? Workout Wednesday is about more than working out, it is about being healthy. Whether your goal was to eat carrots or run five miles they are both equally important to your healthy.
Today let’s identify our eating weaknesses. Pick up almost any Fitness magazine during the last three month period and I am sure that at least one of them will mention keeping a food diary. But I know that I do not need a food diary to determine my food weaknesses. When my girls rest in the afternoon I turn to two big no-no’s: carbs and candy. If we have bakery bread I will walk to the kitchen and get piece after piece. Any candy in sight and there isn’t a chance it will survive through the rest of the day. If I could make it through rest time without consuming all those extra calories I wouldn’t have to work as hard to lose these ten pounds. What are your eating weaknesses?
Now, let’s set eating goals. Having identified your eating weakness what are you going to do differently? My resolution is to drink 2 glasses of water and eat a full serving of vegetables during rest time.
Hold yourself accountable! I absolutely know that I do better fitness-wise when I have a buddy/group to check in with. Posting these Workout Wednesday posts is my accountability. I would love to be your accountability buddy too. Look for a few facebook updates during the next week or post your comment here. Success comes in small steps. Let’s work on this together!

Food weakness…french fries and they are everywhere. And those stupid fast food joints put them in your bag even when you say you don’t want fries you want the healthy salad or fruit side. Thanks for sharing in the pain.
