It’s that time of year again ……….. You know, time for yard sales to begin! There is such an overabundance of unnecessary junk in my house that it is pitiful. A few days ago we received an email stating that our neighborhood is having a community yard sale on April 24th. Woohoo! Free advertising! Oh, and not needing to go hang up and take down my signs is a huge bonus. I immediately started getting stuff ready for the sale and piling it in the garage. Then Money Saving Mom posted her Clear out the Clutter Challenge and that sealed the deal for me. I am now deep cleaning my house (spring cleaning if you will) to get out all the extra stuff we don’t need.
The girls and I cleaned out two of the three bathroom cabinets today. It is amazing how much my girls love band-aids. They went through a box each, but I have clean bathroom cupboards now! I will make it to the kitchen tomorrow (apparently I cannot read and did not realize that today’s challenge was the kitchen). Here is a glimpse of my bathroom cupboards. They were chaos before the clean!
