Hello! Welcome to Coupons Are Great. My name is Leandrea and I have two little girls who are just about sixteen months apart in age. Right before I delivered my younger daughter in January 2008 I discovered Target’s semi-annual toy clearance. I immediately became obsessed with not paying full price for anything. I started my blog to show my friends what I was doing. I am now trying to help people save money with coupons since I think coupons are great.
Along my couponing journey I realized that my friend Jessica was just as obsessed as I am and I talked her in to adding deals in her neck of the woods. Between the two of us we have four children who are 3.5, 3.5, 2, and 1. Instead of telling your how my husband and I met (which was in elementary school) I will tell you how Jessica and I met. 😉 Our daughters are practically the same age, which means we were pregnant together. We were both registered members of an online forum called Epregnancy. At the time I lived in Nevada and Jessica lived in North Carolina. Then my husband and I moved to Georgia. Jessica’s parents live about 45 minutes from us. Since we had been online friends for almost two years we decided to meet once when she was visiting her parents. We met at a mall in the middle of the day and became instant real life friends. Prior to that I had never, ever, ever met someone in real life who I met online first. It turned out to be a great thing, and I have met several other friends from Epregnancy. The internet is a wonderful place! Now Jessica and I are two couponing friends sharing all sorts of deals in one place.
