It has been awhile since I have posted about a CVS shopping trip, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been shopping there! I have a little CVS secret: I shop on Saturday afternoon or evening so that I can combine sales weeks. Did you know that CVS sales prices are active earlier than Sunday? It’s true! Extra Care Bucks print early as well (*the exception is ECB’s that print with 3 Day Sales – those never print early). This is a great way to get your total up in case you have a $/$$ coupon.
To my surprise I received a $5/40 when I scanned my card last night. I wasn’t planning a trip so large, but I had the right coupons with me and it worked perfectly. My out of pocket before tax was 22¢ – silly tax bumped my total to $3.04 which I paid for with a gift card.
I used $10 in Extra Care Bucks and received $9.99 back!
