Who else is a runner? This week I am a want-to-be runner. My knee (IT Band) started bothering me again and I called my physical therapy to start seeing him. The best part about PT is that he comes to my house and I do not have to find a babysitter for the girls. The worst part about PT is the uncertainty of running the Georgia Half Marathon in 56 days (but who’s counting?). My husband and I are signed up to run together and I am really looking forward to those 13.1 miles bright and early on a Sunday morning. With my knee in limbo it makes me sad and frustrated.
One of my best friends is a crazy runner. She introduced me to Fast Running Blog. She uses it as a forum tool, while I use it as a way to track my mileage. This month I have logged 34.88 miles. My goal is 60 this month and I am not very optimistic that I will reach that goal.
I know there are a lot of running/fitness forums out there and I would love to know your favorite. Fast Running Blog is simple to use, which I like and *need.*

Thanks for the post! I too love to run and do triathlons…and suffer IT band problems off and on.
I am definitely going to check out this blog.
Good luck on the half marathon.
I am the CRAZY runner! Though I am also a wanna-be crazy runner, because stupid stress fractures and ITB troubles constantly plague me. Now I am a crazy cross-training machine, which i also track on fastrunningblog.com!
I will have to check this out! I am running my second half marathon this October. For my first one I used the beginner half marathon training schedule and basically just followed that each week.
