Beer Rebates

May 18, 2010 by Leandrea Voskanian

Summer is here.  Perhaps that statement is a little early, but I bought a seedless watermelon for $2.99 today and the temperature outside is 77, so it definitely feels like summer.  With summer comes grilling season, and with the grilling season comes an influx of beer rebates.

Beer rebates, quite simply, are rebates for buying either beer or the combination of food and beer.  If you live in AL, AR, CT, HI, IN, KY, ME, MO, NC, NJ, OK, UT, or WV then consider yourself lucky and start hunting for beer rebates right now!  In those states you do not need to purchase beer for the rebate as it is against your state’s laws.  In the couponing world you live in a state where you get NBPN rebates – No Beer Purchase Necessary.

Today I found a new Heineken rebate set that is valid for one $20 rebate with the purchase of $30 worth of premium meat and/or seasoning and (2) 12-pack of Heineken (OR) $10 rebate with the purchase of $20 worth of premium meat and/or seasoning and (1) 12-pack of Heineken, $5 rebate with the purcahse of any 4-pack energy drink and (1) 12-pack of Heineken, and $5 rebate with teh purchase of $15 worth of fresh produce and (1) 12-pack of Heineken.  These rebates total $30 and for the residents of the states listed above these rebates are totally free in the fact that  you do not need to buy the beer to get the rebate.  All you need to do is meet the requirements without the beer purchase and you can consider your food deeply discounted.  For those of use in states where the beer purchase is required, these are still great deals if you can find a beer rebate for a brand you already buy.

So head out and check your stores …  frequently.  You never know when you will spot a beer rebate!!!  If you are unlucky at your stores, try ebay or the trading section of a forum like Hot Coupon World or A Full Cup.

I bet that is it. I didn’t realize some states don’t have beer in the grocery store! Even though NC is a NBPR state, we have beer in the grocery stores so I am sure that’s how we are able to score rebates around here.

Lauren- Keep looking and in the meantime head over to Hot Coupon World and start trying to trade coupons for rebates! I also live in a NBPR state so rebates are so much fun around here! I have traded many times for good ones! Also have family members check for you in different locations as they may be able to find some for you that are valid in your state even if they live in another one. Good Luck!

I trade all the time for them, it just stinks that they are never around here lol. I am pretty sure a lot has to do with the fact that beer isnt in the grocery store too so the rebates are not there.
