Hi! My name is Leandrea. I am currently a stay-at-home mom to two little girls. Prior to being a mom I was an Applied Behavioral Analysis therapist for children with autism and a teacher. My undergraduate degree is in psychology and my Master’s degree is in Special Education.
My husband and I decided we would have children when we were financially stable enough for one of us to stay home with them. Fortunately my husband has an awesome job which made this possible. But I found that I could not sit home and spend money haphazardly. I stumbled upon couponing in January of 2008 and haven’t looked back since. We currently use the cash systems and limit ourselves to $150 per week on all of our out of pocket expenses – which includes grocery, health, beauty, diapers, household, eating out, and all the other little expenses which add up. Believe it or not, the SuperTarget that opened near our house was the reason for the change to the cash system. I was absolutely out of control and decided to curb my spending. I love the cash system!
I may not blog every day, but I do look for deals on a daily basis. I try to post what it pertinent in my life. If there is something huge going on that I read on another site I will try to pass that on as well.
