Although there are many ways to get coupons for free, sometimes it is just easier to buy them.
1) Get the Sunday paper!
- See if your newspaper gives first time subscribers a discount. If you subscribed awhile ago, ask if they will give you a discount for returning.
- Check your local Dollar Store to see if they sell newspapers.
- In busy cities you may find people selling newspapers at freeway off ramps for a discounted price.
- Buy double papers if you live in a place that sells doubles. Here in the Atlanta area a single Sunday paper costs $2.00 but you can buy a double paper on Sunday for $3.00
2) Check Ebay. If there are only a few coupons that you are going to use from an insert it can be advantageous to check ebay. Shop through Ebates to receive additional savings. (If you are new to Ebates and sign up through this link you will have $5 put in to your account automatically!). I tend to use Ebay to purchase the coupons I know I will need in multiple.
3) Head to a coupon clipping site. Here are a few. Jessica likes Lori Has 3 Kids because “it’s only a minimum of a $2.00 purchase and shipping is free, but the only downside is that you can only order in quantities of twenty.” Please give Jessica’s name ((Jessica Miller) to her if you make a purchase as she gives incentives for referrals!
