It is very safe to say that I have a Candy Corn obsession that goes back several years. While our Crafty Tuesday posts are mainly tutorials this week is going to be a showcase of Candy Corn crafts that I have completed over the years.
My daughter was 13 months old and it was her second Halloween when I made her Candy Corn Costume. This was my very first sewing project…….ever. I didn’t start on a blanket or a pair of pants….nope I headed straight for a costume. Truth be told, I sewed the dog’s costume first and then my daughter’s costume next.

I took a break from making Candy Corn creations for a few years. That’s what having two little girls who are 15 months, 3 weeks apart in age can do! There just wasn’t enough time to be candy corn creative. But this year I have been whipping out some fun candy corn crafts.

Over the weekend I created two candy corn skirts using the Simplicity Pattern #4206. The pattern price was 99¢ at JoAnns and I used a 20% off coupon, which dropped the price to a mere 80¢. I also used 50% off coupons for the fabric. My total out of pocket for the two skirts was a little less than $10 and I have leftover fabric and a pattern that will be used again and again.
I also sewed a candy corn bag using felt (my favorite crafting medium) an ribbon. It’s so cute! I think I will make 4 and fill them up with goodies for my daughters’ teachers this Halloween.

My last big candy corn project was a wreath using the new White Chocolate Candy Corn M&M’s.

Do you have a favorite Candy Corn Craft?
