Crafty Tuesday: Caterpillars

This week we worked on patterning with our craft. OK, so my 3.5 year-old worked on patterning and my 2-year-old worked on not getting glue everywhere. 😉 This is a very easy craft that needs little supervision if using a glue stick instead of liquid glue. The girls continued decorating their caterpillars while I cooked dinner.

Supplies:

• Construction paper (2 shades of the same color, or different colors)
• Scissors
• Glue
• Pipe Cleaner
• Tape

Optional: To make my life easier I use the Creating Memories Circle Cutters.  I adore these!

Directions:

• Cut enough circles of the same size.  We used six circles – three of each color.
• Glue circles together
• Add a bent pip cleaner to the back of the head with tape
• Add eyes (google, sticky, drawn)
• Draw a face
