Hoppy Spring! The girls are very excited about bunnies and chicks right now, so we made our very own Hoppity Bunnies out of construction paper with cotton balls as a bunny tail embellishment. To make this craft all you really need is white paper. Pink paper would be great for the inner part of the ear but you could substitute crayons very easily.
There are times when I want to make a craft with the girls, but I want to be incredibly lazy as well. Sometimes a template really does make the world a better place. So I am including my very imperfect bunny template pdf in this post in case you want to make your craft time just a little easier. Mind you, this is not a professional template and is very far from perfect. However, it works. You can cut 2 arms using the larger oval marked as “legs” or you can cut 4 legs using the smaller oval marked as “arms.” I prefer bunnies with rounded ears, and the ear template is marked for both rounded and pointy ears.
