Fourth graders across America have a new reason to celebrate. With the “Every Kid in a Park” pass children in 4th grade (and their families) will receive free admission to all of America’s federal lands and waters for FREE. For a full year. This free national park offer is available now.
The free national park admission annual pass is valued at $80, and includes admission to more than 2,000 federal recreation sites, including Yosemite, Yellowstone and Grand Canyon national parks.
Grab your free parks pass. Simply go to the Every Kid in a Park website here and click on “Fourth Graders”. Click on “Student” and follow the prompts. After a few screens you will be able to print a pass. Check the locations near you to see where you can trade the paper pass in for a plastic pass!
This is a perfect time to add Geocaching to the list of activities that your family enjoys together! We took a break on geocaching in the hot Atlanta summer sun. It will be fun to get back outdoors and play detective now that the weather is cooling!
Once you get the hang of geocaching you may want to make your own. This Geocache kit is a great place to start!
