Free Weekend Activities Nationwide | September 10

The leaves are going to start changing colors and falling.  Can you believe it?  One of my favorite parts about fall are the fun activities that our area has for families.  It seems like the fall is the perfect time to get out and about!  If you don’t already have your weekend packed full of fun, you may want to get out of the house for a change of pace. Having fun as a family does not have to cost a lot of money out of pocket. It is possible to find free activities to do with your children each weekend at major retailers coast to coast. A big round of applause to these major retailers who offer free activities this weekend!

AC Moore: Saturday September 10th from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm
FREE Craft – Thomas and Friends Scarecrow Train (this looks really cute)

Babies R Us: Saturday September 10th from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm
Baby Safety Day Event: Come learn all about your baby’s safety from car seat & home safety to other great baby tips.

Bass Pro Shops:  Saturday September 9th and Sunday September 11th
1:00 pm until 5:00 pm – Honoring our Heroes Event with free activities
2:00 pm until 4:00 pm :- Children will create a Free Patriotic Bug Craft.

JoAnn Fabric and Craft Store: Saturday September 10th
11:00 am until 1:00 pm – Grandparents’ Day Make It-Take It: Kids can create a fun gift for Grandma or Grandpa using Perler Beads! It’s fun & FREE!
1:00 pm until 3:00 pm – Education Open House! Meet instructors & see class samples.
3:00 pm until 5:00 pm Jewelry-Making with EK Success Filigree & Floral

Kidtoons Films: Various times throughout the weekend (The Atlanta theater show times is 10:59 on both Saturday and Sunday)
Watch Sid the Science Kid – a family friendly movie with a family friendly price!

Lakeshore Learning: Saturday September 10th  from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm
Children will create a FREE desktop caddy.

Lowes Build and Grow Clinic: Saturday September 10th at 10:00 am
Children will create a FREE police car

Children will make a FREE beautiful bouquet for the Grandparent!

11:00 am until 1:00 pm – Thomas Play Date!

Walmart: Various time throughout the weekend
