Disney’s The Search for Santa Paws is available on DVD/Blue Ray today. This DVD is perfect for the Christmas season, and is just what you need for the long Thanksgiving weekend. Christmas is a magical time, as we are reminded by this movie.
In the movie, when Santa and his new best friend, Paws, discover that the boys and girls of the world have lost the spirit of the season, they take a trip to New York City. But after Santa loses his memory, Paws, an orphan named Quinn (America’s Got Talent’s Kaitlyn Maher), her new friend Will (The Game Plan’s Madison Pettis), and a wonderful group of magical talking dogs find a way to save St. Nick and show the world what Christmas is really all about. Friends, fun, and the Christmas spirit are all found along the way. This holiday classic will surely delight the entire family!
This movie may make you cry, as it did me. Along the lines of the classic movie Annie (orphans), with some Air Bud added (talking dogs), the Christmas magic is contagious. Talking dogs are fascinating to children. My girls loved the dogs and the little girls in the movie. As with all movies we had to remind them that movies have happy endings. We enjoyed watching The Search for Santa Paws although the girls didn’t make it the whole way through. I intend on trying it again this long weekend!
Before you head out to buy this movie be sure you print the $10 Blu-ray combo pack coupon. Once you are home there are several printable The Search for Santa Paws activities to make your day complete.
