It’s another week of Running is Great! Daily Mile sent me my statistics yesterday, which was a great reminder to post. If you are not familiar with Daily Mile then you should head over there now to create an account.
dailymile is a social experience for active people. We’re a community of people just off the couch to ultramarathoners alike, who encourage and inspire one another as we achieve our goals.
Daily Mile tracks the miles that you run and that workouts that you do in a really fun way. The visual layout of the website is very appealing. If you are a runner it is a fun way to see how many cumulative miles you ran over the year. I love that it tells me how many pounds I have burned….and how many donuts that translates into!
Now for my Running is Great update. Last week I ran 21.33 miles in the course of three days. I did Pilates for my forth workout and then I had three days off. The runs felt good. I was impressed with our Friday run. We started out slower and got progressively faster. Here is the breakdown of Friday’s run:
1 – 9:31
2 – 9:28
3 – 9:25
4 – 9:21
5 – 9:10
6 – 9:13
7 – 9:04
My goal this week is to get in 5 workouts instead of four. I really want to do an Insanity workout, but I don’t want to risk an injury, so I may pop in the 30 Day Shred DVD for some cross training. Tuesday is normally my pilates day, but I have to miss for a doctor’s appointment. My head has been bothering me lately and my husband pointed out that the medication I am taking is expired….by two years. Ooops! That probably helps account for taking 5 migraine pills in 4 days.
How are your workouts going? Do you have any races scheduled?
