We were definitely skeptical and scared to name our own price on Priceline.com. While we were in Oregon the tv jingle “Priceline negotiator” came over the tv and my husband set to work finding a deal. If you remember, he finds deals on everything that I don’t! He found a forum called BetterBidding and lurked for a bit. It wasn’t long before he was convinced that we would be able to stay at a 3.5 star hotel by the airport for $53/night. Sure enough, we negotiated our price and received a great room at the Double Tree for what we expected.
