It’s been awhile since I overachieved on a school lunch. The girls have started making their own lunches and loves having that control. But sometimes I make lunch to give them a break. When a holiday is near it is always fun to make a special lunch. If you have a Bunny Cookie Cutter you can make a fun lunch like this in a snap.
It’s been awhile since I have mentioned how much I love our Easy Lunchboxes. They make packing lunches so incredibly easy. My husband used to use approximately 467 baggies per week (ok, so maybe that is a small exaggeration) but he is now hooked on the Easy Lunchboxes too. BPA free, dishwasher safe, and simply awesome.
Bunny Bento Lunch
My goal was to actually use bread to make a sandwich and cut out a chick and a bunny. We only had sandwich thins….so the cheese was placed on top of the sandwich instead of in it. To keep the cheese from falling off I broke a tooth pick and used a Sharpie to draw black on the end (giving the appearance of an eye) and placed it where the eye would go. The carrot/cucumber tulips are incredibly easy to make (thanks Pinterest! If you are not following me on Pinterest you should!). The bunny pick in the strawberries was a find at the Dollar Store today. You can always search for cupcake toppers in seasonal varieties for more lunch fun. I tucked a few Jelly Beans inside the egg and called the whole lunch a success!
I also created this little Somebunny Loves You note to put in her lunch too. Success! Feel free to right click it, save it, and print it for your own use!
