This is the easiest food drive EVER! By now you have probably received a plastic bag and a post card announcing the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. Put some non-perishable food items in a bag (any bag!) and place it by your mailbox tomorrow, Saturday May 14, 2014. Your mail carrier will pick it up and donate it to a local food bank or panty.
Go ahead, look through your cupboards or pantry right now and find at least one food that you can donate. This is a great time to go through the food that has been sitting there forever and confirm with your family whether they will eat those items or not. If no one wants to touch it….donate it! Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
