This summer I am going to do 10 weeks of storybook lesson plans with my daughters (age 3.5 and 2). I have chosen ten books to read to the girls. Each of these ten stories will be accompanied with art, activities, cooking, and some sort of worksheet. In no particular order, the stories I chose are:
- Corduroy
- The Very Hungry Caterpillar
- Chicka Chicka Boom Boom
- Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad Day
- Duck on a Bike
- Caps for Sale
- Brown Bear, Brown Bear What do you See? (funny how that is really not the title but is what I have written down)
- If You Give a Mouse a Cookie
- Madeline
- Three Little Pigs
I will post my lesson plans a week ahead of time for anyone who wants to join in the fun of Summer Toddler Time. Before I design a button for this, is anyone interested? 😉
