There are many people who panic because they are hosting Thanksgiving at their house. However, I am slightly panicking because we were invited to enjoy Thanksgiving with some family friends.

For the past 7 Thanksgivings we have eaten dinner alone each year (except for one). Living in Atlanta and having family in Oregon means that traveling for the holidays is crazy expensive. I kind of like our lazy Thanksgiving Days. Don’t get me wrong, I am very excited to share Thanksgiving with friends. Now I have to think about a hostess gift though!
Thanksgiving Dinner Hostess Gift Ideas…..Needed
Chocolate: From a box of chocolates to individual sized Dark Chocolate squares perfect for a calorie conscious mid afternoon treat the selection at Abe’s Market is my favorite for unique chocolate gift ideas.
Wine or Gourmet Soda: If you know your hostess likes wine grab a bottle. Aldi has great wine prices! If your hostess doesn’t like wine (like me) find some gourmet soda. You can order gourmet soda from Amazon as well.
Candle: Pick up a candle at Kohl’s when they have a 15% or 20% coupon. Or head to Bath and Body Works for something seasonal and fun!
Flowers: Have a fresh flower delivery arrive on the day before Thanksgiving so your hostess has time to put the flowers in a vase before her guests arrive.
If the above options are not right for your hostess head to Target or Walmart and pick up a gift card. My hostess loves shopping at Crate and Barrel so I am going to stop in to see if I can find a reasonably priced gift, and if I can’t then I will pick up a gift card!
