It’s Saturday night….the night my husband tends to cook dinner (I am a lucky girl, I know!). The clock strikes five and dinner is in one hour. My husband suggests tacos for dinner but we do not have an ground turkey. So what does this coupon loving wife do? She heads to I Heart Kroger to see if there are any last minute deals this week. Hooray! There is a great deal for Free Parkay and Free Eggs. You had me at Free Eggs!!! Umm, Easter? You are only a few days away.
I headed to Coupons.com and printed my two Parkay coupons, loaded my e-coupon, and headed to Kroger.
At checkout I was surprised when the $0.50 Cellfire promotion coupon came off. Woohoo! It’s sad how quickly I forgot about my lowly little fifty cents. So my husband’s desire for tacos tonight yielded ground turkey breast, a dozen eggs, and 2 Parkay products all for $4.49. While my savings was not terrific, I was excited that I picked up free eggs and Parkay while purchasing the one item we truly needed!
This week we finished with $2.50 to put in our overage envelope. 🙂
