We are big Dave Ramsey fans.  We didn’t follow his debt snowball step by step but found it incredibly helpful.  Our emergency fund is tucked safely away, which is fabulous because I just ran the van in to a curb (sigh – details on that later) and we have to pay our $500 insurance deductible to cover the $2,000+ worth of Dave Ramsey.  It was  a relief to know we knew exactly where that money will come from.
