I found a nice deal tonight when shopping at my local Walgreen’s store. I went in to use up a $5.00 register reward that expired tonight and planned to do the Kleenex deal using the in-store 89 cents per box coupon. They were all out of those boxes, but as I was finishing up my trip I found that they had some 90-count boxes at an endcap for 2/$1.49. After register rewards (Buy 6 Kleenex, get $3; Buy 5, get $2RR, Buy 4, get $2 RR) and coupons, this makes them 8 cents per box!
Here’s the details of my transaction tonight:
Kleenex 90-count x 3 @.74 each = $2.22
Kleenex 90-count x 3@ .75 each = $2.25
Colgate Total 3.99
Reese’s Egg Cup 0.39 (filler)
-(2) 0.50/3 Kleenex Q’s (2/28 SS)
– 0.75/1 Colgate Total Q here
-$5.00 RR= $2.10 + tax oop
Received a $4 RR for Colgate and $3 RR for Kleenex
Even if you can’t find any for this price, you can still get 6 boxes for 22 cents each when you use the .89/each in-store coupon. It may be a good time to stock up before allergy season hits us full force!
