Walgreen’s Shopping Trip (with scenarios)

Have you been having fun today using all those RRs you got from the vitamin deal last week?  I had a scenerio all planned, but neither one of the WAGs I went to had everything in to do it.

Buy (1) Skintimate

(1) Plackers (0.50/1 Q)

(1) Stayfree (2.00/1 Q)

(2) Reach Toothbrushes (BOGO and $1/1 Q)

(2) Reach  Floss (BOGO and $1/1 Q + in-ad reach Q)

(1) Energizer Battery (2.99 in-ad Q and $1/1)

(and through in some Scott tape since it’s free)

Total after coupons would be $5.45.

Use $5 RR, pay 0.45+ tax and get $8 RRs back

Anyone have any scenerios that they pay even less oop and gain RRs?  Please share!

My other idea was to throw in the Tone Body wash instead of Energizer, but your oop would then be $1.45 after $5 RRs.  You would gain an additional $4 in RRs that way though!

This picture is all my loot from two shopping trips.  Total oop (which was actually all on a gift card so no real oop for me) was $4.33 ($3.36 of that was all tax).  I used $10 RRs and got $11 RRs back.  Not as great as my above scenerio, but I’m going to try again today to do the above!

I did find that Energizer batteries were NOT $1.99 as mentioned on my match-ups.  They were actually $2.99.

Trying to roll the current RRs?  Remember that you can’t use a Skintimate RR and buy another Skintimate.  You won’t get your RRs to print.  Here are a few scenerios that I did this afternoon to roll my current RRs:

Scenerio #1

– Buy 1 Plackers (Use 0.50/1 Q)

– Buy 1 Stayfree (Use 2.00/1 Q)

– Buy 4 Crunch Bars (on sale for 0.39 each and use the BOGO Crunch coupon to only pay for 2…[or just buy 2 if you don’t have those Q’s])

– Use your $3 RR from Skintimate/Schick

Pay 0.27 (plus tax), get $5 in RRs back (one 3 RR and one 2 RR)

Scenerio #2

– Buy 1 Skintimate

– Buy 2 Crunch Bars (Use BOGO Q or just buy 1 if you don’t have that Q)

– Use your $3 RR from McPheil (from Stayfree)

Pay 0.38 (plus tax), get $3 RR back
