We made almost free Christmas Presents

December 16, 2009 by Leandrea Voskanian

Natalie and I made Christmas presents for the seven other kids in her class.  Before making cookies we stopped at CVS to pick up their Christmas freebies to use on our project.

$0.00 = Nestle Tollhouse Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies (They were BOGO a few weeks ago at Publix and I used the $1.25/1 printable making them free)
$0.00 = Bow ($2.99 -2.99 ECB at CVS)
$0.00 = To/From Label ($1.99 – 1.99 ECB at CVS)
$1.00 = Eight cups from Walgreens at the cost of 8 for $1 that I bought for fillers when using register rewards
Minimal: Tissue Paper (I wanted to get the free after ECB tissue paper from CVS but couldn’t find it)

So our total for eight little gifts was definitely less than $2 when you factor in the tissue paper.  That’s a quarter a gift!
