Weekend Family Fun: February 12th and 13th

It is possible to find free activities to do with your children each weekend at major retailers coast to coast. These free family events are fun for everyone. You don’t have to break the bank to get out of the house and have fun in this cold weather!

Border’s: Saturday February 12th at 2:00 pm
Join the “Silverlicious” fun with songs, games, crafts, and more!  The recommended age is 4-8.

Disney Store: Saturday February 12th – while supplies last
Children are invited to Disney Store on Saturday, February 12, to make a FREE Valentine’s Day photo frame for their loved ones. Minimum age for participation is 3.

Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft Stores: Saturday February 12th from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm
Children can create colorful Valentine Keepsake Boxes at all Jo-Ann stores! It’s fun & FREE!– Create a Valentine Keepsake Box this Saturday (2/12) between 11 am – 1 pm.

Lakeshore Learning: Saturday February 12th from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm
Children will create a Valentine’s Day Bouquet

Lowe’s Build & Grow Clinic: Saturday February 12th at 10:00 am
Build a music box with a heart shaped lid.  When the lid opens, music plays!

Michael’s: Saturday February 12th from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm
Make a heart shaped photo frame at the Make-It Take-It event (Purchase required)

Michaels: Sunday February 13th from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm
Make a FREE Valentine’s Day Card t

Pottery Barn Kids: Saturday February 12th – Reservations required
Join the Doll Tea Party celebration. Children can bring their favorite teddy bear or doll with them as they enjoy refreshments, stories, and a Valentine’s Craft

Walmart: Various time throughout the weekend
