Zoo Atlanta is a great Atlanta attraction if you are in the city. It is always weird to think that there are elephants, orangutans and more hanging out in the middle of the city!
We have visited this zoo MANY times and there are so many great things about it. There are picnic tables to eat at, a playground for kids to burn off energy, and fun statues for photo opps!
If you live in Georgia you should know that you can get FREE tickets to Zoo Atlanta from the library! It may be worth it to put a request out on this DVD which turns in to free Zoo Atlanta tickets while you are thinking about it.
To save money at the Atlanta Zoo pack your own snack, lunch, and drinks. There are nice picnic areas where you can eat your own food!
Be sure to check Groupon for zoo deals before you head downtown. There was a Zoo Atlanta Groupon available for purchase on April 25, 2013.
