3 Transactions: Each under $2. Coupons are Great!

March 17, 2011 by Leandrea Voskanian

I went to three stores today: Rite Aid, Walgreens, and Target.  Using coupons really is amazing.  I purchased 10 items at Walgreens for $1.39 and 6 items at Rite Aid for $1.05. Then I went to Target and purchased one can of olives for more out of pocket than either of my drugstore trips.

Walgreens:
$1.67 = Five Bubble Mailers
$0.78 = 2 Listerine Smart Rinse (each was $1.39 – $1.00 coupon)
$0.20 = Royal gelatin
$4.00 = Irish Spring Deodorant ($3.00 each – $1.00 coupon)
Used $6 in register Rewards, received $4 RR back!
Subtotal: $0.73, Grand Total: $1.39

Rite Aid:
$0.00 = Five J&J Floss ($1.00 – $1.00 coupon)
$0.39 = Face Wash ($4.39 – $2 -$2)
Subtotal: $0.39. Grand Total: $1.05

Target:
$1.46 = Olives ($1.47 – $0.05 bag credit)
Subtotal: $1.42, Grand Total: $1.46

What amazing deals did you get this week?
