If you have a daughter you may know that Disney’s Adventures in Babysitting is now on DVD. My older daughter is almost ten and has been counting down the days until the Disney Channel Adventures in Babysitting premier. Every few days I would hear the countdown until the much anticipated Friday night. But the thing about watching movies on TV is the you don’t get the bloopers and extras.

Join stars Sabrina Carpenter (“Girl Meets World”) and Sofia Carson (“Descendants”) as two competing babysitters that turn an ordinary night into a night NO ONE will forget in Disney Channel’s Original Movie Adventures in Babysitting on DVD. This new movie is based on the wildly popular film from the 1980’s by the same name and is sure to be a hit with kids and parents alike! The DVD also features exclusive hilarious bloopers.
Our Thoughts
My girls (ages 8 and almost 10) and one of our neighbor girls really enjoyed this movie. It is full of funny antics while being child appropriate. I don’t know if you remember the original Adventures in Babysitting movie, but it is rated PG-13 and has quite a bit of language and inappropriate content for children. So Disney making a family friendly version that is watchable for young kids made me sooooo excited.
The rap battle was my girls favorite scene. They have tried to recreate it a few times and that makes me smile. This is a movie that turns girls who are very different (think prim and proper versus wild and carefree) into great friends. A night full of mischievous hijynx will keep everyone laughing.
If you have a daughter who is in the age of being not a little kid but not a big kid….this movie is a great family watch.
