Have you picked your favorite photo from this year? Are you ready to create your 2012 holiday card?
From the Family Holiday Snowflake Card ……
To the Center of Joy card…..
Shutterfly is taking care of our holiday cards this year! They have a wonderful new collection this year from traditional colors and embellishments to merry and bright colors that take on a modern feel.
Last year we sent Shutterfly Christmas cards and they were absolutely beautiful. I had two family members call to say that they loved our Christmas card and that it stood out from the others. They mentioned how wonderful the quality of the card was, and I couldn’t agree more. We all want to save money on presents this year, and we should. I will always budget for high quality Christmas cards now. Each year I save 3 cards – one for each of my girls and one for us. I tuck these cards into memory boxes and we pull them out each Christmas time and have a visual representation of our family over the years. I look forward to taking the manilla envelope out of the Christmas ornament box each year. It’s a bittersweet moment to flip through our family photo cards. I wish I had started the tradition of high quality Christmas cards from Big Sister’s first Christmas since that Christmas card was …. a bargain … Let’s just leave it at that!
This holiday season one lucky Coupons Are Great winner is going to have a free $50 to spend at Shutterfly so they can impress their friends and family with high quality cards.

I love baking for the holidays
I really look forward to spending the day with my parents. It’s relaxing, the kids have a lot of fun with them and I can be myself. Time with the inlaws is a lot harder and being mentally prepared for the stuff that gets pulled (even with the kids) is exhausting and sad.
My favorite tradition is that all my step kids get to come over and share a meal with their significant others. My stepkids all love each other but get so little time together throughout the year, so this is truly special.
