It is possible to find free activities to do with your children each weekend at major retailers coast to coast. These free family events are fun for everyone. You don’t have to break the bank to get out of the house and have fun without spending a fortune!
My favorites this weekend are the Tulip Planter craft at Home Depot and the Garden Stakes at JoAnns!!
Home Depot: Saturday May 7th from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm
Children will build a Tulip Planter
JoAnn Farbic and Craft Store: Saturday May 7th from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm
Children will paint a colorful garden stake. There is also the option to craft a handmade Mother’s Day card using supplies from Martha Stewart Crafts.
Lakeshore Learning: Saturday May 7th from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm
Children will make a Mother’s Day Purse
Lowes Build and Grow: Saturday May 7th from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm
Children will make a Heart Flower Vase (flower not included)
Michaels: Saturday May 7th from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm
Create a custom scrapbook page for Mother’s Day. While supplies last. Ages 14 and up
Toys R Us: Saturday May 7th from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm
Battle friends and learn new spinning techniques at the LEGO Ninjago Spinjitzu Training Camp
Walmart: Various time throughout the weekend
